Terms of Service for Vocabeelary

Welcome to Vocabeelary. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vocabeelary app. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vocabeelary. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
2. Your account
You sign in using Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent usage limits on the AI features
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
4. AI-generated content
Some content (memory hooks, example sentences) is generated by an AI model. It is provided to help you learn and may occasionally be imperfect. It is not a substitute for professional educational advice.
5. Educational content and no guarantee of results
Vocabeelary is a study aid. We do not guarantee any particular score, result, or outcome on the SAT® or any other exam.
6. Not affiliated with the College Board
SAT® is a registered trademark of the College Board. Vocabeelary is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Vocabeelary is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, they will be sold through the Apple App Store and governed by Apple's terms, with pricing and details disclosed before purchase.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its original vocabulary content, design, and code are owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its content except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
